Research opportunities
For undergraduate students
Currently, we are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working research assistants to help run several of our materials simulations and computations. Interested undergraduates are invited and encouraged to participate in MTG's research activities, and a commitment of at least one semester is expected. Outstanding undergraduates may also have the chance to be lead/co-authors in highly-cited publications. We always welcome highly motivated and outstanding graduate students to join our research group. Opportunities differ by semester and year, and scholarships are often available for highly qualified candidates. Interested students should contact Aloysius at any time. 재료이론연구실(MTG)에서 연구에 열의가 있는 통합과정 대학원생 (1~2명) 을 모집합니다. 저희 연구실에서는 (나노)재료 물성 분석 및 예측을 위한 first-principles simulations 및 artificial/natural intelligence-enabled informatics연구를 다음과 같은 주제에 맞추어 수행하고 있습니다.
Artificial intelligence-assisted design of functionalized liquid metals and their alloys for hyper-flexible conductive electrodes.
Designing hydrogen (H2) storage materials and device systems for next-generation automobile technology.
Examining the electrified interface in heterogeneous electrocatalysts for green energy production.
Functionalizing naturally occurring layered mineral materials for neuromorphic-mimicking quasi-reversible energy generation systems.
본 연구 주제들은 현재 한국연구재단 (NRF) 및 국내 유수 기업들 (삼성전자, 현대 모터스 등)과 협업 중에 있습니다.
